Snowflake Day

It was time for the quads to become teens. They were all a little slow at making their way to their cakes, despite all being called at the same time.

Taric was first receiving the Unflirty trait.

He was followed by Seiren who became a Cat Person.

Rolan aged up receiving the Excitable trait.

Bael aged up last and received the Unlucky Trait. Despite inheriting his hair and eye colour from my side of the family, Bael appeared to have inherited the most from Dale.

Nearly immediately after the quads Rolan started to show evidence of the trait he had rolled as a child.  Unfortunately it was Niella he picked on first.

After all the care she had shown him while he was growing up, I was very disappointed with his behaviour.

I could also tell that Niella was extremely upset by his attack on her, I am not sure if this something their relationship will ever recover from.

Winter had also arrived and our werewolves were on the hunt. Although they were having little success.

Maeric often became discouraged and would start attacking the furniture.

Winter also announced that Snowflake Day was drawing near. I added a few decorations to the Living Room and I also invited several of my children that had moved out to celebrate the day with us. A few of the kids were unable to attend and sent their apologies. Most of them had decided to come.

We even had a couple of my children crash the party, which under the circumstances was more than welcome. Bodewhin even brought a plate of food along to share.

Even though she was now married Lamelle came by herself. I did wonder why she had left her husband Corey and son Agustin at home but I was still glad that she came.

Bodewhin seemed amused by Maeric’s fashion sense but was sensible enough not to let him know.

Others that came to celebrate included Siedre, Adan and Beslan. Beslan didn’t stay long due to work commitments but it was still nice to see him.

Rolan was continuing to alienate those around him. Most of his brother’s were upset about his treatment of Niella and were not afraid to express that.

Dale took the opportunity to ask for a kiss under the mistletoe.

Eventually we got everyone organised to begin opening the many presents we had stacked in the middle of the floor.

Everyone soon found a position in which to watch the gift giving.

I was glad that the living room was big enough to hold us all comfortably.

It took a while for everyone to recieve and open their gift but I think that most were pleased with the presents that they had received.

The following morning after eating way to much food and receiving many gifts it was time for the triplets to age up into Young Adults. Maeric aged up first rolling the Neurotic trait. Maeric wants to become a HeartBreaker.

Followed by his brother Jheran who became a workaholic and whats to become a Professional Author.

Niella was the last of the three to become a Young Adult. She rolled the Childish trait. Niella wishes to become a Master Musician.

They were quick about organising  a photo of the three of them for both me and their father.

Leader of the Pack

With new quadruplets in the house I decided it was time for the triplets to become teenagers.

Most of the family was on hand to celebrate this important milestone. You may also notice that slight glow which indicates a full moon. 😀

Maeric aged up and rolled the Flirty trait.

Jheran rolled the Vegetarian trait.

And Niella rolled the Proper trait.

The Full Moon brought out the wolf in Dale. As they all ate birthday cake,  Niella seemed surprised by her father’s transformation.

Maeric became more interested in tearing up the furniture. His father just watched. 😦

After sizing his son up, Dale had the urge to show his eldest son just who was the leader of the pack.

Let the ”My teeth are bigger than Yours” competition commence. 😕

With four babies to train, most of the teens gave training the toddlers a try; even if it was for a short time any amount of help was welcome.

Taric took a liking to the Xylophone.

Sierin could often be found playing peek-a-boo in the toy box.

Niella became drawn to music, just like I knew she would. At the moment she seems to have taken a liking to the Bass.

Siedre performed her first conversion spell. The result was an adorable little lady beetle.

Jheran tried wishing in the well.

While he was home Dale tried out the driving range.

With the trained, it was a relief to be able to celebrate their birthdays.

All of the older kids came to cheer them on.

Taric received the Neat trait.

Seirin became Unlucky

Rolan rolled the Mean-Spirited trait. 😦

and Bael received the rebellious trait.

There were however two more birthdays to be celebrated.

Siedre and Adan birthdays seemed to trigger a chain reaction of werewolf transformations. Dale and Maeric seemed to transform almost simultaneously.

This time her brother’s transformation terrified Niella.

Taric became the first of the Quads to succumb to his wolf form.

The Birthday continued despite the interruptions.

Adan rolled the charismatic Trait. He wants to become Super Popular.

Siedre rolled the Dislikes Children trait. I wondered if her interrupted birthday in anyway influenced her roll. 🙂 Siedre wishes to grow the perfect garden.

After all the birthdays were complete we all sat down to celebrate with cake.

With her sudden dislike of children it didn’t help when Maeric decided to scare Siedre right after her birthday.

After Maeric’s scare, Siedre couldn’t wait to leave home and both she and Adan organised to leave the very next morning.

They did take a short time to organise their going away portrait.

I was already upset about Siedre and Adan leaving home when, all too soon, it was time for Dale to leave for work again.

“I’ll be back before you have a chance to miss me”, he told me.

“No you won’t” I replied, ‘‘I miss you already”

After Dale had left it was time to complete my task.

”Hi”

All Yours

Dale had left the previous evening and unfortunately he wouldn’t be back for a couple of weeks. The rest of the household just got on with the everyday activities we usually used to occupy ourselves. Of course I also had to find the next father. For this pregnancy I decided to find an easy target. Genies are notorious for being willing to do almost anything for their freedom. My grandmother had been sending me all the Genie Lamps she could find since my last Genie father. I figured it was time to actually use one.

Of course I had to make sure that all my kids were busy first. I didn’t like the idea of parading the next father in front of my kids, especially since I was now engaged to Dale. It made more sense for me to make contact during the day while everyone else was at school. Of course someone else had an opinion on that! I had been preparing to summon the Genie when it suddenly became apparent that I was already pregnant. When had that happened?

I decided to still summon the genie. At least this way I would know if the genie was at least male and I could also make a wish. 🙂

I explained my deal with him.  His freedom for a baby (when I wasn’t already pregnant of course).

When I wished for a large family he looked at me as if I was a little crazy.

He did agree to grant my wish for a large family and promised that he would think about the other proposal.

After putting the Genie back in his bottle, I went out into the backyard to relax with a little bit of painting. It had been quite a while since I had the time to indulge in one of my favourite past times.

It had taken me a while to realise that Adan had failed go to school today. I had to let him know that I was angry that he had skipped school and also with his current grades he would be very lucky if he even had the marks to graduate.

Over the next week Siedre worked on her Alchemy,

did a bit of reading,

some gaming,

and of course worked on her magic.

Jheran and Maeric continued to bond with their Imaginary Friends.

Niella continued to enjoy the rocking horse.

Adan became the first person to try out the new basketball hoop.

Soon enough it was time for Dale to arrive home.  Our reunion was briefly interrupted by somebody asking me for an autograph. Guess I’m now famous in Queenstown?

The first chance I got I was welcoming him home. “I missed you” I told him.

”I missed you too”, he responded.. His eyes dropped to my expanding waistline.

“So you’re pregnant?” he asked.

“Of course” I told him, “That was the plan” I watched him trying to gauge his reaction, I still didn’t quite believe that he would stay when I started having more babies with other men.

“That’s great” he said. He laughed at the look of shock that I couldn’t hide. “Lucia, that was our deal remember? If I didn’t think I could handle it I wouldn’t have agreed to it.”

Taking his hand I pulled him towards the backyard, “By the way this time our plan totally failed”, I laughed.

“Huh?”

“These babies are all yours” I informed him, poking him the chest before starting to climb the ladder to the treehouse.. “I found out the day after you left”

I could tell that he was shocked, I was nearly to the top of the ladder when he finally responded. “Luc, do you really think you should be climbing up there?” he asked, “Your pregnant!”

“Are you joining me up here or not?” I laughed.

It wasn’t long before the new babies decided they were ready to be born. Conveniently I had been napping in the nursery when I gone into labour.  Unfortunately Dale freaked out about having the babies at home so we ended up at the hospital.

When we were at the front entrance I even had a cheer squad, although my daughter Jalani is better at jeering than she is at cheering.

Our trip to the hospital had a result that neither I nor Dale had anticipated.

We were blessed with four beautiful baby boys. Now that we knew what to look for, we also noticed that two of our new sons were werewolves like their father.

Taric was first-born, he arrived with the traits Absent-Minded and Loves the Outdoors.

Seirin was born with the traits Clumsy and Easily Impressed.

Rolan received the traits Hates the Outdoors and Absent-Minded.

and finally Bael was born with the traits Hates the Outdoors and Genius.

A/N: So… the Quads were NOT planned, I left Lucia and Dale in the middle of some romantic actions when I went to check on other members of the family. Next thing I knew there were baby chimes. I did deliberately make the genie wish for a large family but I wasn’t expecting quads… 😕 So my question is this: Should I include the quads in Lucia’s count or should they be extras? Let me know what you think. 😀

The King and Queen

Today is the Spring Carnival and with the children begging to attend we all hopped in our Motive Mobile to see what was on offer.

The triplets couldn’t wait to find all the eggs scattered around the festival and spent most of the afternoon hunting eggs. Maeric spent the entire day in his werewolf form. Sometimes I think he prefers it.

Siedre was the first to try out the roller-skating rink. She wasn’t doing a lot better than I had when I had first tried Ice-Skating.

Dale and I  counldn’t resist trying the Love Tester Machine.

We anxiously waited to see where our relationship would be ranked.

We were excited when the light flashed at the very top.

Granting us a perfect 10/10.

Later in the evening the other children joined Siedre on the rink. All of them appeared to be as talented as I had been. Siedre had yet to show any improvement.

Maeric however decided that roller-skating was not for him and ran beside his siblings instead.

Dale and I had spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor. We even received a letter a couple of days later announcing that we had won the title of Spring Festival King and Queen.

It had already been a wonderful day. When we had finally arrived home and the children had all made their way to bed, Dale decided to make a perfect day even better.

He looked nervous, he took a deep breath before saying “You know I have to go away for the next couple of weeks for work, but before I go I just need to ask you something.”

“Okay?” I asked, unsure of where he was taking this conversation. I knew he wasn’t exactly looking forward to leaving, it was the first time our agreement would be put into effect. I don’t think either of us really knew how it was all going to work when it was acted upon.

He surprised me when he was suddenly got down on one knee pulling a small box from his pocket. “Lucia, I’ve been wanting to ask you this since the moment I met you. I love you and I always will. Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”

I happily accepted. Unfortunately I had to tell him that the wedding would have to wait until I had reached my one hundred baby goal.

Dale was thrilled that I had said yes to marrying him, but a little disappointed that the wedding wouldn’t take place until later.

We did take the opportunity to celebrate our engagement before he left town.

The Occult Within – Part 2

Shortly after finding out about Dale, we noticed that Maeric was also displaying some symptoms. I didn’t take kindly to him scratching my furniture but he was only a baby and it couldn’t be helped. When Adan was at home he was very good at keeping his little brother calm.

I had searched for information on the condition in toddlers and I had some hope that we could help him learn to thrive. I have a fair few children who fell in the occult category. However, with Maeric I couldn’t rely on Dale to know what to do like I had done with previous fathers. This was new to Dale, too.

We soon settled into a routine and I will admit that I delayed aging the toddlers to children for longer than I ever had before.

Speaking of having to contact fathers to work out what to do with their kids.

I had to give Ray (Siedre and Adan’s father) a call when Siedre has suddenly discovered she had powers.

I must have been a little preoccupied when Siedre was growing up because according to Ray, Siedre’s magic would have manifested when she was a toddler. Adan appeared to be unaffected.

Siedre was thrilled when she learned to cast a Luck charm. The ability to offset her unlucky trait came in very handy. 😀

Eventually I couldn’t delay any longer it was time for my babies to become children.

Most of their siblings were on hand to celebrate their little brothers and sister’s birthday.

Adan and Siedre were very enthusiastic in their celebrations.

First up was Maeric who rolled the Easily Impressed trait.

Next up was his brother Jheran who received the Dramatic trait.

And finally Niella who rolled the Lucky trait.

Afterwards they all enjoyed their birthday cakes together.

Our suspicions about Maeric were soon confirmed.

His first transition happened next to his sister while everyone was busy eating the triplets birthday cake. Niella did not seem to be the slightest bit worried about what was happening right next to her.

Maeric’s transformation received more attention from other family members.

It was all too much for Adan who promptly fainted.

Siedre seemed worried but I think she was more worried about her twin than she was about the relevation that Maeric was also a werewolf.

She got over the shock quickly and started practising her witch-craft next to the passsed-out Adan.

Tylin and Beslan aged up the same night but unlike the triplets they had both been out exploring Queenstown. 😦

Both of them aged up on the side of road in the pouring rain on their way home to receive their cake.

Tylin received the Brave trait and is planning on becoming a Jockey.

Beslan received the Natural Born Performer trait and wants to become a Acrobat.

I couldn’t believe that Beslan and Tylin were now young adults and ready to leave home.

Of course I made sure that I gave them goodbye hugs and they promised to send a photo as soon as they were settled.

I once again only had five children in the house. Both Jheran and Maeric’s imaginary friends became semi-real. This of course meant they often appeared to be talking to themselves and playing with thin air.

Maeric became accustomed to his werewolf form. Unlike Dale, he seemed to be able to remember what happened during a transformation.

Unlike the boys, with Niella we never saw any evidence of an imaginary friend. She did take a liking to the rocking horse in the nursery and was often up there for hours on end.

Tylin and Beslan had sent me a photo from outside their house once they had settled in. I was pleased that they had remembered.

At one point I had invited the entire family over to get a photo of all of us. It was meant to be a Christmas photo but by the time that we actually got around to taking it, Christmas had long since passed.

***

BONUS PICS: Mostly because Maeric, Jheran and Niella spent a lot of time as toddlers and I also bought the new store set with the change table and the animations are just adorable. As you can see Jheran was the lucky toddler that got to try it all out with his mum. 😛

The Occult Within – Part 1

It had been a couple of months before we worked out what was behind Dale’s memory loss. In that time I had really started to worry.

We had only becoming stronger as a couple but having your partner dissapear without warning messes with your emotions.

And of course we were in the middle of toddler training. There were some quiet times.

Mostly it was chaos.

Bonehilda was a great help with the toddlers. She was always looking after one of them making it easier for us to finish training the other two.

Toddler training had to be completed, of course. So we got started as soon as we could.

Dale was a natural father.

His children really enjoyed having him around; as did the older children.

He was soon helping train the tots like he had done it before.

I had been in the middle of teaching Maeric how to talk when I finally learned about what was different about Dale…

”Maeric can you say Mama? Mum-a..” I asked him, waiting for my son to answer.

“Ma-Ma” he said slowly, as he payed close attention to what I was trying to teach.

“Good boy!” I encouraged him.

How about Daddy? Can you say Daddy?” I asked Maeric, I looked up to see Dale entering the room. “Da-what? Uhh?….Dale?….What on earth?”

Dale had transformed into…something…pointed ears, sharp teeth..the works.

That night after a little research we had discovered what was wrong with Dale and the reason behind both his tranformation and his memory loss. Dale was a werewolf and there was only two ways to become infected…being bitten by another wolf (something Dale vaguely remembered) and inheriting the gene from a parent. The abilty to remember what happened during a tranformation would come with practice.

The older children were getting along fine. Beslan helped out by reading a bedtime story to Adan.

Tylin was happy enough watching the television.

She also spent some time playing chess on the computer.

Beslan, like his sister also managed to get abducted. I imagine he won’t enjoy what comes next.

Adan also went outside to see the pretty lights. 😕 You would think the kids would have worked out what they mean by now – but apparently not…..

Siedre decided to outdo the boys by getting herself abducted twice!!  Smart Girl…… 😦

Beslan and Tylin have taken a liking to the wishing well. I think they have been wishing for happiness. Maybe they wished to forget everything about their alien eccounters.

We soon got used to Dale being – different. Some of his quirks were harder to live with than others.

“Ah, Mum. Dale’s eating straight off the plate again.”, Tylin smiled at me.

“I see him” I replied.

Along with some appalling table manners, Dale had started to enjoy his food raw. It took some getting used to.

Winter Festival

As usual the time was coming that I would have to say goodbye to one of my children

.

I had been distracting myself as much as possible but it was soon time for Jolene to leave the house.

Even though she had joined the family a little unconventionally, it didn’t mean that I loved her any less than my other children and I was sad to see her go.

We did take the time to take a family portrait before she left. I hadn’t realised just how long it had been since I had one done. I think that Caraline and Darlin were children for the last one.

It was still winter and so we seemed to spend a lot of time inside. Usually watching televsion or some other activity. For Beslan it was usually something music related.

Tylin managed to get herself abducted by aliens. We did warn her not to go out to look at lights in the sky but for some reason she ignored all of our warnings.

When Beslan did make it outside he made us all an igloo. When his hot-headedness overcame him he often escaped out there to cool off and even spent a couple of nights in there. Apparently it’s not as cold in there as it looks.

Siedre became interested in baking.

She cooks snacks for herself all the time which is probably a good idea when you consider that I have a tendency to serve up birthday cake three times a day. I can cook okay but who has the time?

The hiring of Bonehilda to help around the house has had some unforseen problems.

I forgot to take Adan’s neurotic trait into consideration…thankfully this is a fairly large house. I am hoping they will learn to avoid each other.

The activity I chose to spend my time on was inventing; an activity that I had only tried in passing before.

Having an activity that required my full attention was for the most part keeping me from analysing the Dale situation. Even though I had thought it could work at the time I was no longer sure. He would have to one exceptional guy to put up with what I had to do.

Mostly I thought it wasn’t fair to him but he wasn’t taking that as an excuse and had convinced me to let him move in when I started to show.

Dale was due back in town today and we were all playing to meet up at the winter festival. The children took an immediate liking to the snow-fighting station and spent hours pelting each other with snow balls.

I  loved how each child had chosen to compete against their twin.

I had chosen to start making a snowman. I had thought that at least one of the kids would have become bored with the snowballs and come over to help me but I had ended up having to finish Mr Snow all by myself.

My youngest children were not the only one enjoying the Winter Festival. Careane, Tuon and Adora were also enjoying the day out.

Dale had finally arrived as I was talking to Adora.

“Hey, so sorry I’m late. I got caught in traffic”, he said leaning in to give me a kiss on the cheek before turning to Adora to introduce himself. “Hi, I’m Dale and I’m thinking by the look of you that you must be one of Lucia’s daughters.”

“Adora, and yes I am” Adora  looked at him, “How did you know that?. She finally asked.

Dale reached out taking a strand of my hair between his fingers. “You have the same beautiful hair as your mother” he stated, his hand reaching out to take mine.

“Is it okay if I steal her away for a bit?”, He asked Adora.

“Sure”

As Dale pulled me away from the centre of the festival, I glanced over my shoulder at Adora as should stood staring after me in shock. I knew I would be receiving a phone call later asking me to explain just what was going on.

“I missed you” he breathed, pulling me into his arms.

“I missed you too”

And I did, whenever he was here I was sure that we were doing the right thing. When he was gone, I worried that this relationship was not going to work. That it was a mistake.

“So umm, you have probably already worked this out but…..I’m pregnant!” I blurted out. Even though I had agreed to let him move in before the baby was born the last time we had been together I hadn’t looked pregnant.

Dale’s excitement at the news was adorable. “So that means you are going to let me move in?” he asked.

“Yes, you can move in” I told him.

He pulled me into arms and kissed me and I was once again sure that it was all going to work out.

Dale also became very interested in my expanding waistline. “I can’t wait to meet them….”he told me.

***

Time always passes so quickly. Dale was often absent for unexplained reasons. When I asked him about it he only seemed confused and insisted he had been at home the entire time. In the end I let it go, even though his loss of time concerned me. In the future he was going to have to be extremely forgiving, the least I could do was reciprocate.

Just before I was due to give birth I decided to age up Siedre and Adan.

Siedre aged up into a beautiful teen receiving the Green Thumb Trait.

While her twin Adan became equally handsome receiving the Excitable trait.

When I finally did go into labour I was once again painting.

Dale and I welcomed three little angels into the simverse.

First born was Maeric who received the Loves the Heat and Over-Emotional traits.

and his brother Jheran who was born with the traits Loves the Cold and Couch Potato.

and finally Baby Number 75, a baby girl whom we named Niella. She was born with the Virtuoso and Brave traits.

Baby Bump

My newest babies soon revealed that they were on their way.

I found the new lounge room very relaxing and am now spending more time in there than I ever have before.

Beslan often joins me. We watch some television and the two of us discuss which instruments he might like to try.

Yep, Caraline and the smustle…no more needs to be said.

It had taken me a while but I finally got the chance to fireproof the fire-place. Arrela will be pleased when I tell her.

It wasn’t long before it was time for Caraline and Darlin to leave the house.

After I had received my goodbye hugs, they left. I am hopeful that story progression will treat them well. 😀

That night after Caraline and Darline left home Jolene experienced her first alien encounter.

My baby bump became bigger and bigger.During my pregnancy I once again found the chance to work on my alchemy skill.

I was out and about with the children when I finally went into labour. Ray happened to be on hand  to witness the birth of his children. Arrela was also there (without her wings???) to also welcome her new siblings.

Adan was born with the traits Loner and Neurotic and I am thrilled that he received his father’s hair colour.

Siendre was born with the traits Genius and Athletic. Siendre also received both her father’s hair and eye colour.

Jolene treated the household to a ghost story. Given her evil tendencies she was very good at it.

Tylin and Beslan grew up far quicker that I had planned.  Their birthday’s took me by surprise.

When Tylin aged up she received the Equestrian trait.

Beslan received the hotheaded trait. The older he gets the more he looks like his father.

With the surprise birthdays out of the way it was time to get on with training the toddlers.

Siendre wasn’t an attentive student

With her genius trait however she was still learning fast.

It didn’t take long for Beslan to find music once he was old enough to hold an instrument.

Afterwards he took the opportunity to work out for a while.

Tylin volunteered to train Adan, she didn’t find him the easiest toddler to train.

After a while I took pity on her and finished her brother’s training and then I started to teach my son how to walk.

Once I had completed the babies training it was time for birthdays. Before I aged up the Siendre and Adan it was time for Jolene to become a young adult.

Jolene received the Star Quality trait. Her chosen LTW is to become a Creature Robot Cross Breeder.

Since their training was complete I decided it was time to age up the youngest twins.

Siedre aged up rolling the Unlucky trait.

Adan aged up  rolling the Can’t Stand Art.

A/N: For the first time in a very long time I am nearly caught up to my gameplay. I am now only one pregnancy behind. 😀 Also it wasn’t obvious in this update but my save file finally got too laggy to be playable. I think it was about four times the size of my other challenge saves when I finally had to give up on it. Not bad I thought, we got to 70 kids in one save so I’m happy with that. 😀

So that means Lucia and her kids have moved on from Hidden Springs. Yes, I kept the house. I find the house almost perfect for Lucia’s challenge and I didn’t want to let it go. So with upcoming updates you will notice a change of scenery when they finally get a chance to get outside and fully explore Queenstown. I also could not stand the thought of leaving her kids behind. So I brought ALL of them along so you will see some of them from time to time.

Thanks for Reading. Lil 😀
